  1. Mr. Collier, I just watched the American Pickers episode that featured your dealership. I am a huge AMC fan: Pacers, AMX’s, Javelins, American’s (I owned a 64 convertible), Gremlins (owned a 70 2 dr sedan). I learned to drive in a 64 Classic 770 Station Wagon. My dad owned a late 50’s or early 60’s Ambassador with the V8 (327, I believe). I also owned a 60 Metropolitan, which was sold by the AMC dealer in my hometown. I tell you this because I have been looking for a Nash, AMC, or Rambler car. I don’t even car what kind it is. The ones I have run across thus far have either had severe cancer or been so expensive I can’t justify the cost.

I am looking for a car which is in reasonable shape, without rot-through. I would like the motor to spin, unless the car is a early 50’s model. I don’t have a ton of money to spend, $4-5 K tops.

If you have any vehicles that fall into this category, please let me know.

    Thanks, in advance,

    Steve Shurts
